The WordPress media library, rethought.

We fully redesigned the native WordPress media library: a dark, consistent grid, crisp thumbnails, readable captions, smooth scrolling. A space you finally want to open, where you spot your files at a glance. Duplicates, meanwhile, are detected automatically and flagged with a badge.

Real folders and collections.

Sort your media into a real folder tree, nestable without limit and shared with the team. Grab any thumbnail and drop it onto a folder: drag and drop is direct. And since the same files often serve several places, cross collections group them without ever moving them.

Hierarchical foldersDrag and dropCollections

Search, in a single keystroke.

Instant search that filters the grid as you type, plus filters by type (images, video, audio, documents, SVG) to keep only what matters. Type "comptoir": only the right files stay on screen, the rest fades away gently.

Preview, without leaving the grid.

No more full-screen modal: a Finder-style side panel slides in from the right. Large preview, dimensions, weight, date, and above all the list of pages where the media is actually used. Edit the alt text and title inline, change folder, then move to the next media easily, without ever closing the panel.

Bulk actions, without reloading.

Select several media and act in a single gesture: move them, tag them, delete them, or edit the alt text and title of the whole selection at once. Fields left empty rewrite nothing: your clean data is preserved. All of it without the slightest page reload.

Unused media, spotted.

Over the course of projects, some media end up used nowhere. RML detects them by cross-referencing featured images, content, WooCommerce galleries and custom fields, then lets you delete them in batches, safely. House rule: at the slightest doubt, the file is considered used. Never a false positive.
